more questions from the newbie...

ok so i got my first skiens of wool (yay!) I love the smell, i loved dying it...I it was all awsome..but now that i have it all dyed..is there an ideal way to wind this so it is easy to knit with? i mean should i put it into a ball or one of those twisty skiens aain...and if so how do i do that?

oh yeah and i bought this yarn before i realised how much it took to make soemthing..so is 25-350 yards of yarn big enough to make a large or toddler soaker in the down under design? if not i guess i will be making some newborn soakers...teehee. I jsut couldn't wait to dye.

ok now how much yrn does a pair of newborn longies take?
toddler longies?
toddler soaker?
newborn soaker?
toddler soaker shorts?
newborn soaker shorts?

I know these would all be aproximations..thank you!

This site has the instructions on how to make a center pull ball of yarn. I use this technique most of the time. It's great!

Not sure about this one. Maybe go over to www.littleturtleknits.com and see what it says on her patterns.

Good luck!
