Where do you buy your wool?, and a goofy question

I'm looking to purchase some wool to make ponchos with. I'd love it if it was undyed, but I'm not too picky. There's nothing in my town except Walmart so I just plain can't buy wool of any kind here. An siggestions are appreciated

So, here's the goofy question-- how do you keep your hair out of your projects? I've been noticing since I let my hair grow that I find strands of it in just about everything I crochet and its driving me nuts. I'm considering a hairnet lol

Do you have a Joannes? They sell Lion's Brand Fishermans Wool there. It's 100% virgin wool. It's not dyed or anything, but you can easily do that with kool aid or something. I think it was $8.99 for a big ol skein, 8oz? Like those huge Red Heart sized ones.

As for the hair in projects, I hear ya! I still pick my hair out of my projects. I think it just comes with the teritory, lol. Maybe try pulling it back or something?

Nearest JoAnn's is 60 miles and we never drive that far-- there's honestly NOTHING here. I guess we'll have to go on a trip (I'm worried about taking our junker that far though lol)

Here's a link for the Fisherman's Wool http://pages.lionbrand.com/6030/Inve...1419777/1.html

Another place you can get it for $36 a bag, which is 6 skeins. Saves alot of money this way.

Brown Sheep Company has really nice yarn at pretty affordable prices. Good luck!
