Don't you find sewing a lot harder than knitting? I taught myself how to knit in february and I'm not even feeling quite like a beginner still (though there's lots of territory I haven't ventured into, like using color in more interesting ways than just stripes). But sewing is totally freaking me out. lol I've had my machine since may and have gotten nowhere. I am kind of on a mission with it though. I am waiting on two sewing books from amazon -- one is a beginners book with a bunch of beginner projects and I swear I am going to work my way through it if it kells me.

I actuallly like sewing more than knitting. I like instant gratification.

Jewelry and sewing I can "rush" and finish in a day or night, knitting I cant, YK??

My serger is my new best friend...really....sad I know. I started a knit soaker and got side tracked making the case...
