Sew & Show -- Knitting Needle Roll

Not exactly knitting -- but knitting related. I made a needle roll for my straight needles the other night. It's brown corduroy on the outside, 3 different prints inside. Now I just need to make 2 more for circulars and dpns!

I really need something like that for my long Brittany wooden crochet hooks. The hand turned ends make them so they don't fit in normal cases. Really pretty.!!!!

Very nice! I like the multiple prints (and it makes it easier to spot the pockets)

Oooh, I like it! I can't wait to see what you do for your circs. I pretty much only use circs now, even to knit flat, so I must have around 7 or 8 of them now. And I'm so disorganized. But I don't like those holders where the circ needles are sticking out. I'm thinking maybe something more like a cd book - like pages w/ a pocket on each side. Or maybe a large piece of fabric w/ mutiple pockets that can be folded. And then, of course, I need some motivation....

I got all three of the fabrics quite awhile ago (just waiting for a good use for them!) at Fabric Depot in SE Portland. They are by Amy Butler (Gypsy Caravan was the name of the series -- right now she has some designs called Ginger Bliss out). Apparently you can no longer get the Gypsy Caravan prints except if you search the internet for remnants. BUT I actually found the floral print (now being produced by someone else) at the Mill End store on McLoughlin.

I will definitely post more pictures if I ever get the circular case made. Still looking for the right fabrics.
