I crocheted my sister a poncho and finished it today (it only took a few hours total).
Should I bother to write up the pattern for sale on my site? I'm thinking pretty cheap since it was super easy to design...maybe $5....or for free if you buy a soaker pattern? It would be customizable to fit anyone from your newborn (not that you'd want to)....to your great-grandma.

I have a pattern for a granny square one, and while I love the look of granny squares, I am way too lazy to ever actually finish a project made of them. I hate sewing pieces together - it's soooo boring! I need instant gratification.
My DD has been wanting one and I remember having one back in the 70s. I called my mom and guess what? She found not only mine but the one she made for herself as well. So, she is mailing them to us.
Now, I wonder if DD will wear a poncho that is crocheted with the variagated bright colored yarn (think mexican)? LOL!
please do
I need to make one for my 5 y/o and most of the patterns I've found online have been outdated and kinda "old" looking. I'm not creative enough to make them look more modern
