Hope this works -- I've never posted a picture before. These are some booties I made for some friends that just had their first baby a few days ago. The pattern is the "Stay-On Booties" from the book Knitting for Baby (Melanie Falick/Kristen Nicholas). I love the way these turned out -- I think they will become my standard pattern for booties!
I have the book and need to knit some booties so this would be perfect. If you don't mind can you tell me the finished size of the bootie, length and width please!?
I used 2.75 mm dpns, and the yarn I chose was Dale of Norway Daletta. The finished measurements of these were about 1.5" wide and 3.5" long. I must confess that I did not check my gauge against the pattern. They are such a tiny project I just started knitting, and they look to me to be a reasonable size to fit a baby up to 3 months or so.
