Cool! Hopefully this will help.

The purse uses double pointed needles for the handles-- and is an i-cord. Those are easy to do if you just follow the directions. They seem kind of weird at first, but aren't hard. Otherwise, it's just casting-on, knitting and binding off. The pattern says "Easy Felting Project". It really is, too.

The clogs are a little more complicated and are done on circular needles. You would need to knit, purl, k2 together, p2 together, slip stitches and 'wrap and turn'. Directions are given for this if you aren't familiar with it. It's not hard, but requires some thought the first few times. This one isn't hard either, but is more shaped than the purse.

One really good thing about felted patterns is that mistakes don't show in the finished product usually! :0

Thanks for asking. Let me know if you need more info.

Hmmm.. I don't know about the LTK pattern. Hopefully someone else will! I'll go see if I can tell anything from the site. If I can, I'll post.

Yes, the First Time Socks are just that-- a great introduction/starter pattern for socknitting.

Edited -- it actually looks *very* similar, except that the heel is higher on the LTK one. If you have that one already, this one would probably not interest you.
