Under our train table there are 6 bins, one of them is for all the legos. Works pretty good for us.

We keep ours in a twin sheet in a big rubbermaid. To get them out, we lift the sheet and spread it on tehfloor. They play on the sheet. Then we gather the 4 corners, pick up the sheet and put it all in the bin. We do try to keep some of our special Star Wars pieces, hinges, etc. in a little bin to make them easier to find, but the rest are all mixed up.

We dont have any "fancy" sets, yet. For some reason all of DD's Legos go into a large tool box. I think that was DH's doing. He plays with them as much as DD does.

What a great idea about the sheet in the rubbermaid container! I'm going to have to try that.

Right now we have all of the legos in a big shallow plastic container (like an under the bed box). The shallowness allows my son to be able to find the pieces more easily without dumping.

Can I vent a sec about Lego? I really do not like the direction they are taking. I don't like all the sets. It's like they are trying to make kids less creative or something. And also, why can't they give you some extra pieces so that if you lose one of those teeny tiny hinge or 1X1 pieces, you can still build your robot or boat? Oh well, ds doesn't really rebuild the sets anyway - he likes to combine and make his own thing. When we were kids, I think they only sold boxes of different sized blocks, right? I like that a lot more than spending a few dollars on a few piddly pieces in a set. Ok - vent over. They are great toys, though, and something that ds has continues to play with.

Candace, where did you find power rangers legos??? Right now my ds's 2 favorite toys are legos and his power rangers figures, so he would *love* that.

I keep all of our lego sets in separate containers, since certain sets need certain pieces and they are all so small that they would be very hard to find if they were all thrown in together. My ds likes to make (with my help) the creations that are shown on the box, sometimes he will add some of his own modifications, but we still need to use those special pieces.

Our local Toys R Us had them last November and we got them for ds for Christmas. Our Walmart had a few too. They are the Ninja Storm Power Ranger sets made by Mega Bloks. I'm not sure if they are still on shelves. I know I remember seeing the Ninja Turtle sets, but not sure if the power ranger sets are still out.

I just checked Toysrus.com and they only had 2 of the small sets
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/se...661923-1255057
I checked Ebay for you too, and can only find the smaller sets
http://search.ebay.com/power-rangers...QsosortorderZ1

We have a larger set along with those 2 small sets, and another zord. If ds ever decides to part with them I'll let ya know though.

I used to try to keep them in sets, with directions, box under it or behind it. Then I realized it was tons easier to just let them put them in a storage container under the bed...with a large gallon zip lock bag that was recycled for all the directions. Then if someone wants to make a certain set they know what they need to dig for lol!
