Can anyone tell me about WA??

We were watching a Food Network program on Seattle the other day, and DH said, "we should move to Seattle." I would love to live in Oregon or WA; even though I've never been there, that area has always appealed to me.

He could transfer there with work. And I teach online, so I could keep my current (part-time) job. I don't know how the cost of living compares with where we are now (Michigan).

Where are the great places to live? What does it cost to live there?

Thanks!!!

The cost of living in Seattle is pretty high. A friend of mine just moved from the Bay area there and he said it was actually comparable (though they are in a very nice area of Seattle). He said he was shocked lol. Anyhow, I know you can look up the cost of living stats.
