We may be moving to Alaksa!
Well dh is in the Coast Guard...he's a Marine Science Tech. We are moving in either Dec or next March (depending on the date he goes to some training) So we've decided to ask for Alaska and I'm so excited! I think we have a very good chance of getting it b/c there is a lot of CG up there. The biggest base in the country is Kodiak AK...but there are a lot of smaller ones scattered around. Everyone I've talked to that has been stationed there absolutely loved it...I'm sure we will too. Currently we are stationed in FL though - what a change it will be! Is it really that much different from the lower 48? I've heard its a much more simple life up there...sounds great to me! I'll let you know when we find out fur sure where we'll be going
