I don't live in AK right now, but I'm from there and we're planning on moving up in a year or so! I grew up in Eagle River and my parents still live there so we visit quite often! I love Alaska though, just wanted to say hi, fellow Alaskan!

I grew up in Sitka. Went to Baranof elementary. We moved away the summer after 4th grade.

Hey soteralu - have you lived there a long time? Did you live there in the late 70's/early80's? My parents were police officers there.

akmeg I grew up in Eagle River too! My mom still lives there and if we can ever get off the Island we plan to move back. Or at least to the Palmer-Wasilla area.

We lived on Chickaloon Street. Ever here of it? Its across the street from the Lions Park.

Cool Mama's. Well it seems like we are all spread around the state but thats okay!

That's so fun that you grew up in Eagle River! Did you live there all through high school? Maybe we knew eachother!

I graduated from Chugiak in '96, and my parents live not too far from Chickaloon street, up on Crestview Ln. I went to Homestead Elementary, that's not too far from where you lived either!

Oh, I guess I should tell you my name, in case we know eachother.

My name is Megan Green, well, Megan Walburger now, but Green was my married name.
