eye roll Childs sick

Hi my daughter lastnight had a fever and it kept spiking up and down from 100.4 103.2 And i was just wondering if anyone else had maybe the same kinda of situation? My doctor said that if it persist then bring her to the emergency room, and to give her childrens moltrin. She is 8months, but now she is acting fine like nothings wrong she still has a little fever of 100.2. So if anyone has had the same problem or any ideas let me know.

Thank You
Libby

My 7yo was spiking a fever and had a headache most of the day yesterday.

If the fever is low and the child seems normal, I wouldn't medicate. I'd let the fever do it's job of ridding the body of "invaders". DO you know how to use the search function here? I'd search fevers and medicate and see past threads.

Some babies get Roseola around that age, which presents itself as a few days of fever followed by a spotty rash after the fever has broken.
