I wish menopause would just finally HAPPEN!

I am so ready to move on and be done with fertility all together. Ready to be menses free. Ready ready ready ready!

Last year I went 3 months with no cycles and it was bliss! Then a full year of perfectly regular cycles. Now I seem to be stuck in endless spotting punctuated by super heavy bleeding. Blech. What a drain...

I'm 48 1/2. Just starting to turn gray a wee bit. Really ready to embrace this new age. If it would just embrace me and be done with the blood! I'm sick of hovering within 'rush' distance of the bathroom these last few days. LOL.

I have been pre meno , then thought it had arrived as the moontimes stopped for 2 years , then started again, had bloods taken and that showed two ofmy hormone levels were gone, so Doc. gave me HRT for two years all went well then (and apparantely i am one in a thousand woman) periods started again, this was while on HRT, so off HRT and sure enough every 21 - 24 days I get a bleed for 4 days. Wishing it would just start and continue so I can be over it and move on.lol

It is sucky I am sure to have the spotting and bleeding that you have.
Have you told your gyno? It might be time for a D & C to handle things for you. Ugh!

I am 48 1/2 too and I am tickled each time I have AF!

My mom told me to enjoy every moment it is here and to not be in a hurry to have it stop.

I have been lucky to have the opposite of you though....very light bleeding and short periods.

Hopefully when mine do go away for good it will be a fading away of them vs a last minute gushing of a finish.

I'm ready to be done with this and I'm only 43.
I await menopause with open arms.
