Just checking in on you today. Lots of interesting ideas shared with you this week which may have confused the heck outta ya, but still very good ideas I think.
Were you able to make time and journal food intake. I am telling you from experience on myself, not jsut my education, the food part can completely react to some of us.
I had intense pain and could not even move or clean without pain in my muscles. This is nto me at all. I use to install carpet for aliving and help my dh build decks and things. I like doing the work of a man.
LOL
Once I layed off processed foods (had been traveleing and eating too many granola bars) and bread, and high carb foods, things slowly improved. I worked on my liver and also rosemary tea helped rev me up without caffeine wearing down my adrenals.
There was amazing recovery just from food.
Even yesterday I did a liver cleanse via tea. I got roasted dandelion, milk thistle and burdock root in 2 quarts of water, let sit an hour then simmered for too long becuase we forgot. Anyway, it really is not that bad. I add ginger and cinnamon to the simmering too and it tastes ok. the liver thing is right on! We are sick when it is bogged down
Did I tell you this last week already? lol I am pretty tired today so I am getting off, but I wanted to see how you are doing.
I am just so swamped at work, w/ arranging the valentines flowers. Things should calm down soon tho. But no, haven't found the time time food journal. I know I'm not eating so good lately what with work, and what dh consiseres himself to be able to cook for dinner.
One interesting tidbit tho...as I said I don't have AF anymore b/c of the mirena, but, today I have CM. First time I've seen any in months!
Had my check up today. The new midwife was nice, but she had to consult the dr I am less than thrilled with. He said blood work wouldn't show anything at my age (34)!? But they didn't seem to think my complaints odd at all.
They want me to start taking estroven, calcium, vitamin E, and wild yam cream.
And exercise, even tho I am having a bunch of joint pain (saw dr for that yesterday - we are hoping for osteoarthritis, but since my dad has RA, apparently that is possible, as is lupus.) So with my asthma diagnosis the past month, I am falling apart.

Jeepers that is alot it seems to take in at one sitting. I dont understand the blood work thing...blood work is blood work, if the hormone levels can be detected at any age.
You can even get a pee on a stiock thing at walmart to see if the hormone levels lean toward menpause for goodness sake. That is too bad because they are treating you for symptoms instead of finding out what is really going on. That is odd to me. They are doctors.
Well, let us know if they made a good guess at helping this. I hope so.
Well, yesterday at work my 19 yr old co-worker was complaining how hot it was in the store, and it occurred to me I was NOT! I was actually okay temp wise.
I've read confliciting things about the wild yam cream...but my libido has definitly picked up. (DH even said it hadn't been that good since before dd was born!)

well good....there arte alot of women that feel it helps them.
There is so much conflicting stuff out there about it. Like soy. Some women do great on soy, others it adds more problems.
We all do as best as we can, huh?
