It's nice to have research to put a finger on! I've been able to easily peel off over 30 pounds since July, because of upping my Magnesium intake. I take the powdered form, mixed into water, twice a day. When I back off on taking the Magnesium, I stop losing weight, sometimes even put back on a pound or two. It has made a TREMENDOUS difference for me. I also take a whole regime of other supplements, but the Magnesium is key to overall digestion and well being, physically/emotionally/mentally.

Hey as long as you are finding something that is working that is great. Although recently there was a discussion about too much magnesium. I will see if I can find that and pass along. It would be interesting to see if there is a certain type or combimed with soemthing is not recommended

I am using the Nutraceutical brand via Vitacost, and take no more than 1 level teaspoon two or three times per day. This a link to what I'm talking about: NSI Natural Magnesium Calm Raspberry -- 16 oz - Vitacost

P.S. Thanks! It's been just over 30 pounds since around July, but over 50 pounds since a year ago last May. I'm feeling SO much better now!
