what bottles do you like?
we have been using the playtex with the disposeable dropins and both andy and i are starting to really dislike them. we used glass bottles with the other girls, but unfortunately we cannot find where they went. what are you using and what do you like/dislike about them? also, anyone know where to get glass bottles?
I liked Avent bottles. Have your tried the Adiri bottle? Kinda pricey, I think one is $24, but I could be wrong. Anyway, here's the link for 15 glass bottles on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...7440 801&rd=1

We used and loved Avent. The nipple is designed to be more like the breast, and if you stick with the newborn nipples your baby will at least be approximating the oral exercise s/he would get if s/he were nursing. One great thing is that they are short and wide, so they wash up terrifically in the dishwasher; that's a plus for a weary mom.

woohoo! thanks mamas, i dont know why i didnt think to look online - duh
I had to use the dr browns bottles at first as Aidan was very gasy, and I love the bottles, but now I can pretty much use anything with him, and nipple switching doesnt seem to bother him as long as its not the nuk nipples....but I HATE the playtex wtih drop in liners...he takes FOREVER to drink form them so if anyone needs them they are pretty much brand new and I would be willing to sell at a fair price

I started with Avent because I'd heard such good things about them, but Molly never seemed to get a good latch with them. She got a suck blister on her upper lip that wouldn't ever quite heal, so I switched to the Gerber Clear View bottles (on the theory that basic might be better) and she's done great with them. I've been really pleased with them, and her suck blister's all better.
