I had no expectations of this movie at all. Thought it would be a waste of my $9. My friends and I wanted to go to the movies though and it was the one we thought would be the most innocuous of our choices.
It was a blast! We all enjoyed it. We laughed, we learned, we gave it a thumbs up!
Adam Sandler plays a man who finds the emotions he was keeping bottled up. Jack Nicholson plays a man who you wonder if he is mean and crazy or not. Marissa Tomei plays a sweet, smart, talented woman who interacts with them both.
A good movie. Who knew?!
Kids would not like it. It is too mature in concept for them. My 12 year old wouldn't 'get it' if he saw it I am fairly sure.
