Thumbs up Holes....the movie.....LOVED it!

Saw it with my 9 yr old dd, and 13 yr old ds and a friend of his and it was

FUN, FUN, FUN!

The story was wonderful (adapted from a book) and the cast was fabulous and

WOW!

I won't tell you why the boys are digging holes......it is but a part of the plot.

I told dh he must grab a friend and go see it

and you must too!!!!! LOL

I'm dying to see it. I just finished the book with my class. But our *local* (ha,ha,ha) 2 movie theatre isn't showing it yet

I'm dying to see this movie.

We watch Even Stevens all the time, and Shia LeBeouf is my little brother incarnate, it's so weird - they act the same, the look very similar, lol.

Anyway, is a 3 yr old too young? She goes to a lot of movies with us (like Monsters Inc and Shrek, Cats & Dogs - stuff for all ages). I just don't see dh going to see it with me and thought I could bring her along and we'd go during the day, but I wasn't sure if it was appropriate for her to see, since it seems like it's aimed at older kids.

I think a 3 yr old would find it fodder for bad dreams....

though everything comes out positive in the end.....
there are some suspenseful images thru out the film.

Your dh would love it. I think if you want to go with him....you should dare him to go and promise to eat crow (or for me to) should he not have been thoroughly entertained.

Okay thanks! I wasn't really sure what kind of movie it was.

She does get bothered a lot more lately, so I've really cut down her viewing, she can't even watch Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron anymore (though I have to admit I'm kinda glad, I never could stand to watch it, I bawled through the entire thing the one time I watched it, I'm still haunted by that movie).
