What a fun movie!
If you liked Armageddon, Deep Impact or Contact, you'll like this movie too. It's really well done, the special effects are terrific (done by six different companies-there are lots of effects in this film!) and the acting is great. Instead of giving off one liners and trying to be cool, the actors freak out when they are supposed to, laugh and cry when they should, and there's no overly cheesy predictable parts. It was very entertaining, and you get your money's worth-it's a little over 2 hours and 10 minutes. A true popcorn movie!
A great summer hit. Okay for tweens too-no gore, no sex, no violence, a couple of quick deaths that you don't really see. Use judgement though!
