About a Boy - Very good even if it has Huge Grant in it
Sweet Home Alabama - Funny and fun to watch
The Bourne Identity - Lots of Action, good story, fun
I Am Sam - Sad, Funny, Fun to watch, Sean Penn is amazing
The Banger Sisters - ok, not worth the $3.99 I paid, sleazy Goldie Hawn was annoying! I spent the movie doing a make-over on her in my head
The Count of Monte Cristo - Very good
Kate & Leopold - all around great!
Hannibal - I love the Lecter series, not as good as Silence of the Lambs, but worth it for the $ I spent to buy it ($10)
Life as a House - Wonderful!

kater07.. you've watched alot of movies lately!! LOL But I've seen all of those except for I think Life as a House and The Count of Monte Cristo. I do think DH has seen the Monte Cristo one though..
I'd really like to rent The Ring, but DH is a weanie.. LOL He won't watch scary movies with me.. me on the other hand is a horror movie freak!!!!

LOL we got free pay per view coupons in the mail today from directv, so I plan on getting one free movie a month until May or June. Of course I need to call them and complain about the fact that one coupon expired 3/31 and I didn't recieve it until then.. lol
Ghost Ship~kinda creepy, and very graphic in nature. I am not a weak-stomached person, but the things they showed kind of got me woozy. Otherwise, very good.
Joy Ride~DUMB! It's really weird, I wouldn't recommend it though.
Half Past Dead - it's a Steven Segal and I usually hate action films, but this one was a little bit interesting...more so than any action I've seen inawhile...
Pluto Nash or something like that with Eddie Murphy--I think he's so funny usually but I actually thought this was pretty dumb.
I Spy-Eddie Murphy and Owen Wilson- LOVED IT...way funny and wanna watch it again.
Simone-Al Pacino... I didn't think I would like this but it ended up being VERY interesting and I'd definitely watch it again...
We bought the Ring and I usually LOVE scary movies but I decided it was WAY too disturbing so I sold it to my sister because I didn't want it in the house after that!
And lastly, White Oleander--very interesting and I'd watch it again, but kinda weird- the acting was great but it was more sad and weird than I expected.
Humble, trusting prayer brings direction and peace. Don't worry about clumsily expressed feelings. Just talk to your compassionate, understanding Father. You are his precious child whom He loves perfectly and wants to help. -Richard G. Scott

I agree... that was pretty weird and sad.. but I enjoyed the movie.
We borrowed Ghost Ship last night. I didn't enjoy it. It wasn't scary at all and went downhill quickly. 20 minutes in I was hoping they would all die so the movie would end faster...
Changing Lanes was sad but really well done, we enjoyed that a lot.
The Ring has one incredibly scary part (at the end) that made it worthwhile but we went to the theatre for it-I won't have that movie in my house :O
If you think Viggo Mortensen (aragorn from LOTR) is sexy
I rented A Walk On the Moon and WOWY WOW WOW.
I wouldn't watch it with the kids, don't have a DH either, but boy does this movie show his best features.
Tough movie with family issues, but good if you are a Viggo fan.
just my 2 cents
