Piglets Big Movie

Took dd (age 3 1/2) to see it yesterday. Cute, predictable, good music all by Carly Simon. DD got a little scared at 1 part where the characters are being chased by a swarm of bees.

Was DS (and DD!) first movie! (Other then ones he was at as a newborn sleepin' in the sling) He was a little overwhelmed, but had a good time. Today he asked "Watch piglet at home??? Please?" so I don't think he liked the big screen, but like the story. I think it could grow on me, and I laughed a few times, but nothing can beat the many adventures of WTP!

hey

we took zoey to see it today

she's um... 32 months old now and she dug it big time! She sat so intently the entire movie (cept to ask for sips of icee..thanks to big sister chels who had to have one). she ate popcorn and yelled along with the others "piglet..where are you?"

she was so excited at the end when everyone was together and happy again.

i liked the music and some of the stories (like the one where rabbit hatches the plan to switch piglet and roo) are books we have at home so she knew what happened. was pretty neat!!
