Dh and I are dying to see "Gods and Generals." I have the book (but see also March 2003 what are you reading thread for obvious excuse why haven't read it).

Just moved to the desert and don't have a sitter (cause I am over protective, particular and picky about who cares for my children- better do a *whole* lot more than watch or sit

) so we can't seem to get to it together

Any mamas seen this film?

We loved this movie. But, be warned that the ads were deceptive. We thought it was going to be about Robert E. Lee and it was about 75% about Stonewall Jackson and the other 25% was split between Robert E. Lee and Jeff Daniels character. It also had a intermission half way through for a pee break.
