Oohh..
I LOVED it. Even dh loved it. It was difficult to watch. I don't even like Juoaqin (SP???)Phoenix very much her creeps me out, but he is an amazing actor..and he delivered in this film. It made me want to read a biography on Johnny Cash. Just so fascinating. I thought Reese was great too. But I love her

This movie ranks high on my "best movies" list. I really, really like Joaquin Phoenix--I think he's an amazing actor. And Reese, too...she's pretty cool.

I LOVED this movie as well, saw it in the theatre and the place was vibrating from the bass guitar! I have the soundstrack too, and it is one of my fave cds. Both actors did a great job singing, they don't sound exactly like the originals, they resemble them but just sound amazing in their own ways. But I had a feeling I would like it, since I heart Joaquin........!
i could never figure out how to describe it linda but you said it perfectly, "it was hard to watch". i was not a johnny cash or joaquin phoenix fan but i love em both now. j did an amazing job in this film. i have it tivo'ed and watch it a lot.
I LOVE Walk the Line. I am a Joaquin Phoenix fan, too, from way back when he was still Leaf Phoenix. I didn't know much about Johnny Cash, but I still completely appreciated the movie, and the incredible job Joaquin and Reese did.
