Yes, Renee looks like she is sucking an lemon as usual...
but what a well executed story...sweet and lovely. Heart warming and just well...lovely.
Well acted as well...and the drawings, animation are delightful and magical.
And Vidura would love the bunnies. What sweet bunnies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What an amazing woman Beatrix was in her time. I am in awe of women bucking the social norms in their time. It is just awesome.

I just watched it last night and it was a really great night-to-myself chick flick! I don't especially like or dislike Zellweger, and thought the acting overall was really great. Maybe it's the pg hormones, but man I cried and cried at that sad part in the middle!
Potter's books have been favorites of mine since I was a wee one, and it was great to see such a great story come to life. As always though, I wonder about the historical accuracy vs. artistic licenses that are taken in films these days. I think I'm going to look up more about her life.
It was a really sweet movie, I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. I like period films like that I really loved the scenery etc. , and the acting.
That sounds good. I had found a couple of DVDs of Beatrx Potter stories for the girls, "Pigling Bland", "The Tailor Of Gloucester", etc.., They are wonderful! It's nice to share something that I loved as a child (the stories) wth my girls.
