Lady in the Water.....movie review
Wow.
I watched this movie on DVD with dh, dd (13) and we all enjoyed it a LOT!
I had been nervous about watching it since the previews made it very scary looking. It was not horrorful much at all.
More allegorical and beautiful and enchanting.
Bryce Howard makes a wonderful sea nymph.
The cast was really well crafted and so was the story by M. Night Shyamalan.
I totally recommend it.

Good to hear that it was good!
I'm a big Paul Giamatti fan - and kinda been on a "American Splendor" kick lately.

We are big fans of M. Knight Shyamalan. We really liked Signs and The Village too.

I really liked it too and was surprised to see that it won a razzie.

My teen and her friend told me it was stupid. After reading your posts, it might be my next rental choice!

I finally put it on Netflix. I was afraid it would be a horror movie at first, but then saw it was based on a children's book. I've been wanting to see it though.

I loved it. Chelsey and I saw it together quite a while ago.

At *ALL*, well, yes. There's a creature that's out to get the girl. It's not half as bad as the previews made it seem though.

The reviews were so mixed on this one that I could never decide to actually get it.. Going to add it to my netflix queue now. Thanks.
