Talking I saw T3-Rise of the Machines

I like the T2 very much and thought T3 would be good and it was. One scene where the two terminators race each other vechiles is excellent. Arnold looked awesome. Wow-what a bod. Anyways, if you liked the T2 you need to see this one cause it concludes the series, Erika

It concludes the series? I felt that the whole thing was hinting at 4th movie? Like the dreams he talks about in the beginning, then "we'll meet again" when Arnold gets squashed, the still-lit eye under the water...

Either way, both dh and I liked it

Well, I figured they said only one more and I don't think the movie is doing that great-plus Arnie is getting too old for this .Also, they say in the end the humans win. Plus when he says we meet again he means when he kills him. The still lit eye -hmm-I figured it took him awhile to die.Erika

But still, what about the John's dreams in the beginning? It wouldn't make sense to film that whole scene just to show it as a dream, without a sequel. And I don't think that last scene simply meant that it took him awhile to day - if that were the case, it wouldn't have been there at all, IMHO. Also I don't think "we'll meet again" refers to killing John in the future, as Arnie was, well ... terminated Even if it does refer to the killing, again, it wouldn't make sense to put it in T3 this way, and not do a sequel. Maybe producers are simply leaving themselves a chance to do a meaningful sequel if somebody is ever up to this idea?

BTW the theater near us was *packed* (and they show T3 like 8 times day) which really surprised me and dh.

I realize I am in the minority here, but I thought this movie was a real pile! I did like the ending though, at least they didn't cop out and have a happy ending. Only redeeming quality, I thought. Oh, and I *definitely* think there will be more, not necessarily with Arnold, but more.

And YEAH, what a bod!!!!! He's in his 50's isn't he??? I saw him and was like, WHOA THERE NELLY!! Hot stuff!

I just found the ending depressing after they tried so hard in both t2 and this one to stop the end of the w2orld.I thought It was the future and there was no changing it. I figure if they do a sequel it will be without Arnie and will be with John's children.

Yeah, alot of people are seeing it but it only made 44 mil its first week and its second went down to 19mil. They spent lots of money on the movie and promoting it. It needs to make over a 100mil to see if there is even a thought to a sequel.Erika
