Rapid City is about 7 hours drive from here. My parents just left our house this afternoon headed back to Rapid City. I think it is about 10 hours from where Kristerae is currently living. (Jackson Hole....where my daughter is heading in two weeks!) Small world, huh?
What part of the state are you in? (Central, Eastern etc...) I don't want you to post your town here since Wyoming is so small. I'm in Central Wyoming.

Have you lived in WY long? What brought you here? It seems like everyone I talk to (in person mostly....I meet very few people online who live in WY) is either from WY or they married someone who is from WY. (unless they are part of the uber-wealthy who just want to own a vacation place in the state....and you probably know how born-n-raised Wyoming folks feel about those people coming in *lol*)
That is my case. I married a guy who was born and mostly raised in WY. It was always his plan/dream for us to move here but he had to get all his grad schooling done first since we don't like Laramie. *lol*
There are just a few places in the state we'd live.
Anyway, welcome and ignore this post if I'm asking too many questions.
I am born here, moved away a few times, but always come back.
I do understand the whole there is not a lot of people from wy on many of the boards. I am a member of a few and there is only 1 on one and 3 on the other.
I came to find this board by looking for a new place to share homeschooling ideas and noticed that it has a wide variety of things to join in on. With the long winters and windy summers you always need someone to chat with.
I love it here. We live by the snow range mountains, elk mountain, and all of that. I love the wide open spaces here, and that it is such a great place to raise your children.
Well I have to get off of here for now, I hope to come back soon.

Gosh I totally forgot about this thread. I am seriously considering a summer get together. The only thing holding me back is that I may be teaching this year and I dont have a schedule yet. So dont be surprised if I decide to organize this. Esp is Nanci is coming! lol
