to make you see EVERY, STINKIN, PIECE of dirt in your house!!!!!
I have been cleaning for DAYS...literally for DAYS. I am so tired.
And my house is still not good enough (from my point of view). My mil will not care...and as my 10 year olds said, "Why do we have to clean? Grandma will just clean when she gets here anyway??"
UGH.....I have been off soda for 3 months. Think today is gonna break me!
That sucks! My mom is coming on Wednesday. Luckily, she isn't like that, although I do feel like it needs to be extra clean when she comes.
MIL on the other hand, the rare times that she's been to my house, doesn't lift a finger but gives that look of disdain. I love her, but glad she doesn't visit much.

I have in laws that will see every speck and I have in laws that think my house is immaculate(sp) even when I think it's not up to par. Can't please everyone, so I just clean it to my own personal standard and leave it be. However, when my own dad comes in town I find myself scrubbing baseboards before he gets here...go figure.

I am THRILLED to have them here...I love my in-laws dearly and wouldn't change a thing!
This house is how it is....with 7 kiddos, it can't be spottless all the time. She even said that she could tell we had been working on the house and it looks "really nice". Woohoo! Passed the mil test!
BTDT, and no matter how clean I think the house is, it isn't clean "enough".
So, did you break down and get that soda?
And did the box arrive with your books?
Nope...I was good and made some tea instead! My record stands unblemished!
And yes, the box of books arrived...my girls have alredy devoured Ben and Me...and the Fairy book is next up for bedtime stories after we finish Peter Rabbit! Thanks SOOOOOO much!
