I know we still have time- I'm fully expecting to go (at least) 41 weeks, and I'm only just 36 weeks- but still I am stressing that we don't have a name yet for this baby.
We had narrowed it down to Sophia and Charlotte, with everybody else pretty much voting for Sophia and me voting for Charlotte. I really love both of those names, but I wasn't 100% convinced that Sophia (Sophie) was the right name for this baby. I totally adore Charlotte, but (I posted a thread about this earlier) we live basically in Charlotte and I feel a little bit weird about that.
So, today I got online and found the SS most popular name list for 2008. Sophia was number 7, I think. That didn't bother me too much b/c it always seems to vary so much based on region. But then I was talking about it with another mom who works at the YMCA child watch and she said there are tons of baby Sophia's right now. Sigh.
Another name I really like is Harper, which is a variation of my mother's maiden name, but dh thinks it's too snooty sounding, or something.
I also really like Beatrice or Beatrix, but dh vetoed both of those early on.
I love the nicknames Rosie and Annie too, so those are possibilities.
Help? Please!

I love Charlotte, but I understand the hesitation because of where you live. I'm not sure Harper is super trendy yet, and I like the family name connection. I really like it, too.

I love Charlotte. I agree that Sophie/Sophia is huge now & personally, I'd probably hesitate based on that but that's just my taste on picking names.
I really like Harper & Beatrice, too. My cousin's dd has Beatrix as a middle name & they have called her "first name - Bea" in the past, like Sophie Bea.
