Yay! Those ktoos oreos are so yummy, IMO they are better than oreos, and I rarely buy them because I have no self control.

Sometimes amazon.com has gf pasta on sale for cheaper than store prices...the tinkyada brand...and if you do the subscribe and save it's an even better deal.

Great job! Isn't it wonderful when a kid will eat something that you *hope* they will eat!

Did you do any baking yet Barb?
Alex is not happy with this potential dx (which his M.D. father is agreeing with, but we don't have the medical tests back yet to confirm), so I am making a GF chocolate cake tonight so that he knows we can do it.

Teri, I think that's smart. You don't have to cut it all out yet (just in case he does need more testing), but start making the changes gradually.

What cake are you making? Mix?

I used Pamela's brand bread mix and made a loaf in the bread machine and it came out great. I loved it and Roman ate a turkey sandie on it with no issues. I made potato kugel for dinner and Zoey, Chels and I loved it - Tom said its breakfast food (its like hash browns) and Roman hated it. But not because I used GF flour lol.

We just put gf banana muffins in the oven (is 7:30pm here and I'm ok trying to bake a bit lol). I did buy a brownie mix to try too because I didn't buy the xanthum gum. Next paycheck for that.

Anyway, its going pretty well all things considered. Today he had a gfcf day I posted to the other thread but he wasn't thrilled with the pancakes but thats because I burnt them a little and he wont' eat that. He also wasn't t hrilled with the gorilla crunch cereal but I think thats because of the soymilk. He did love the glutino crackers with pb and j , ate a ton of grapes and cantaloupe today, ate his turkey sandie on gf bread and had steak and green beans for dinner since he didn't like the kugel. Had two ktoos for dessert and is anxiously awaiting banana muffins.

Tomorrow we go to grammas for lunch so am bringing 2 slices of bread for him for his sandwich and she has deli meat there, fruit and veggies for lunch

That all sounds awesome!

No, I found a recipe www.gluttenfreemommy.com

No Frills Chocolate Cake | Gluten Free Recipes

It's pretty darned fluffy! It is cooling right now, I will report back.

I am eating it now...it's delicious! Of course, it is warm and gooey right now too. (I changed the frosting because I used my cocoa up and I didn't want to have to put the cake in the fridge...there is just no room for that.)

I'm not sure about this site, but I saw this web addy on a van in my town and thought you could check it out..there are recipes and such. It's Home Page. Rayne was gluten/dairy/egg and sugar free for a year trying to get her eczema under control. It seems overwhelming at first, but you get used to it in time and it's not so bad.
