Dh is 12. Nothing yet.
And this batch is only for people who had direct deposit of their refunds, of course, right?

Yes - just for those with direct deposit, this time around.

We are the week of the 9th now. No rush - just paying for a much much much needed vacation later this summer I'll happily do my part to stimulate that part of the economy

I can ask DH, but my impression is you get it if you paid or received a refund and they have to have this year's direct deposit information for you to get it that way. Otherwise, they are mailing checks shortly.

Yep, I am pretty sure if you paid by direct withdrawl it will go back in. However, if you paid by check, even if you efiled, it will not. My friend said she had heard that if you did one of those H&R block, um, get your refund instantly kind of things, that that also will count as a paper transaction and delay your rebate. I can't verify that tho.

I believe at least $1800 ($300 per person) and as much as $2400 (depending on how much you paid in taxes).

Just kidding. But really, I know because of the bajillion threads that have been posted in the last week about this. We're in the second round.
That's funny! It's true. It's got to be the #1 most talked about thing here!

We paid this year and are (I think) in the 2nd round.
Incidentally, what we are getting back is $34 less than we we paid in this year. Funny, huh?

So if you're the 2nd, do you mind if I ask what you're last two digits are? Ours is 18, so we "should" be in the first batch, but I havent' seen anything yet. I NEED this!

I expect the refund, I just don't think they can direct deposit it since we paid money out..so we would have to wait for the check, I think.

We did pay using the IRS website, with our debit card, though. You can see why I'm confused.

In that case, you will have to wait for teh paper schedule.

I owed on my state taxes, and I had it electroncially debited from my checking account (gave them my account, routing etc). That is how you would have had to have paid to get it direct deposited.

ETA... otherwise, they don't have the info they need to deposit it into your account if that makes sense.
