I want to swap!

5T boys winter coat with hood and snow cuffs at the wrist

5t snowpants - don't have to match the jacket

toddler 11 snow boots, any color but pink or blatantly girly

pull on winter hat and mittens for 5t boys

4t boys halloween costume (5t if it is one piece - long torsoed kid)

dvds - kids movies - specifically searching for black stallion, lady & the tramp, hercules, dumbo - have a couple of other titles so feel free to ask if you want to check

unbreakable things to hang on the xmas tree

size L womens skirts, prefer solid color or summery flowers, below the knee length, no mauve-y colors please or I look completely dead

teas or coffee, no flavors

music cds to listen to for me while working in my ap store, need to be peaceful type music

any brio-compatible train stuff for the boys

a dog collar for a 35# dog

1-2 kids umbrellas

a heavy raincoat for a 2t (not insulated - but that rubber raincoat kind would be great)

rainboots in 10.5 or 11 toddler, anything but blatantly girl, lots of wear okay but no holes please

I would love a handmade coffee cup, used is perfect, particularly if you can tell me a story about it (bought it in Boise, for example)

ANY bath salts as long as they are not patchouli and not artificially scented/colored, partial packages just fine with me

any potty training videos or books except Bear in the Big Blue House

toy story clothing of any kind, 2t or 5t shirt/4t bottoms (boys undies in 4t would be so cool!)

cowboy hats for my boys

kids music cds, burned are fine

anything about live-breeding aquarium fish - we've got guppies

any taped episodes of Mr Rogers would be the greatest! vhs would be fine (we don't get tv in our house so it's got to be taped or they'll never see it)

any pretend/imagination type clothing/hats/accessories for the boys

a night alone with my dh (just dreaming....)

Last Minute addition: we are going on a long plane trip in August - any little hand-held games, toys, etc that would hold either boy's attention (ages 22m and 3 1/2) for at least 5 minutes would be great! Can be cheapie anything - something to pull out of my 'bag of tricks' during a meltdown sort of thing.

surprise me! I'm delighted to be part of the swap and surprises are just fine with me. thanks so much for your consideration
Cathy

You will PM me with your list--you can start it now, but we don't close until wed and a lot of people haven't posted their ISOs yet, so if you can wait until Wed it's better.

Post those ISOs, please!

Okay, this is subject to editing until the deadline

For me:
Jane’s plus nursing bras.. size large, any color, but want good/excellent condition
Mama Jane’s tops, size large.. good/excellent condition
Crossover nursing gowns – size large or xl.. the slits drive me nuts! homemade is fine with me - and I can provide my chest measurement if that helps.. I just need to find the tape measure
cookie joy cookies. They're the cluster kinda things, our target sells some, but I'm really craving the mint kind and I can't find them anywhere.
Karen Hahn blooming wild figurines - check with me first, I may be getting a couple, and want to make sure I don't get duplicates.
strong barettes.. I've got long, thick curly hair and I break more barettes than you could imagine
Things for the hospital.. a phone card (partially used is fine, I'd just like at least an hour or two on it to call all the out of state relatives since I can't use my cell phone), a couple paperback books (read is wonderful, I'm particularly into historical romance at the moment.. you know, the kind of stuff that doesn't require any concentration or thought but is just *fun*).. Also crystals.. Lindsey insists I need to have some to assist me through my birth (this comes after seeing the crystals at the babyland general hospital where the cabbage patch dolls are born)
A cast iron cauldron
Simplicity's "how to sew" book

For Lindsey:
Hanna playdress/daydresses - size 100 or larger - sets would be wonderful
Hanna oh so happy dresses - size 100 or larger
Bike shorts for under dresses - 3T or 4T, we have pinks, yellow, red and turquoise
size xs or 4T ballet leotards with attached skirts (must be attatched, she's too skinny to hold them up) - no characters please - and good condition
4T rain coat.. pref. pink, lavender or ladybug. Not the cheapy Miss Spider one from Target, it didn't fit her correctly and she didn't like the way it felt.
size 4 gymboree leggings (or anything else really).. solids preferred. They're the ONLY pants we've found that fit her correctly.
a small globe

For Joshua:
2T and 3T plain black leggings for creative movement class in the fall
Tonka town cars... they're the only ones he wants to play with
brio pieces that are double ended so that he can put them wherever he needs to..
coloring books (new please) for the hospital.. he wants dinosaurs or construction... I've got some coloring books for Lindsey, but haven't found anything good for him yet, aside from one bob the builder coloring book.
anything with dragons or "gnomie gnomies"

For the baby princess:
Hanna playdress/daydresses - size 50 for summer, 60 for fall/winter, 70 and 80, 90 in either long or short sleeves
hanna oh so happy dresses - any size
Black party bow robeez 0-6 month - ec. please to wear with her Christmas outfit.
Pink newborn/infant headrest for the carseat, used is fine, good condition please since it'll hold my sweet baby's head.
Pink fleece "bundle me" for the stroller/carseat

Misc:
Rescue remedy
apis mellifica 30c - in case of bee stings
hylands bumps and bruises cream
arnica tablets for the first aid kit I need to create for the car
natural/herbal burn salve for the first aid kit
playsilks - not hankie size - bright red, browns and black
unopenned mylecon drops, infant tylenol and infant motrin - generic okay
anything off my amazon.com list (Jodi Pilcher - Duluth, Georgia)
california baby bubble bath - any scent

*note: I'm trying hard to declutter (and if you knew me irl, you'd know why this is such a challenge).. if you've got something that isn't on my list that you think I might like, please PM me and ask. Lots of times I forget about stuff. With clothing, I'm fairly specific because I've got so much already and just need to fill in a few gaps

***also, if you've got any of the following to send to me, PLEASE PM me.. it's stuff I want for the hospital and will go buy soon if it doesn't appear anyone has some to send - a phone card, pink newborn/infant headrest, crystals, rescue remedy, mylecon or tylenol.

o.k., two questions:

1. I have some specifc things that are brand new from UBB (my own personal stock) that we no longer sell and I wouldn't mind swapping them. Can I post these (and maybe other specific items that I have here) as items that I have to trade, so that maybe someone who wants these things, but forgot they wanted them, or WOULD want them if they knew they were available, could post it in their ISO list?

2. It seems like the stuff I'm finding is either too far under $15-$20, or it's just a little bit over (if going by the $20 range, then like 3-5 over). Is there a way to work around that? Or do I just need to figure it out? I'm just looking for suggestions because I've never done this and thought maybe y'all had gone through these situations before and would know the answers : )

thanks and Blessings,

Yes, please post the UBB stuff that you have because loads of peoplel will see it, and some of them will have a little light go off thinking Oh Yeah, I've been wanting one of those.

Also, the swap is for at least $15 now, it's always ok to go over that $ unless it makes you feel really yucky. If things are way under the $15, see if you have something else that you can put in that will bring it up to the amount. I know there are lots of mamas who've said "surprise me". If you are putting that mama on your "I can swap with her" list, and you have a little extra something that is appropriate for her kid or her, then go for it.

HTH

Can I have a consensus on whether or not we want $20 or $15?? I tend to agree that at $15, you pay a lot for shipping. Anyway... I changed it to $15 because I thought more people wanted it that way. But then some said hte other way. I'm tired and confused Weigh in here, and then I'll make a decision.

IMO.....

I prefer the bigger swaps, because it's a better value for my shipping. So, I would prefer $20.00 or higher....
