Where are the swap rules? I thought there used to be a sticky somewhere.

I'm a UBB consultant and I've got tons of things that are being discontinued but are used...like lots of bath fizzies, essential oil combinations, bath oils, etc. Can we use stuff like this (if someone wants these things)?

I need a little help here with the general swap rules. Also, does everyone pay for their own shipping?

thanks!

Okie dokie. Like I said, first swap, so I may add more things that I'm ISO, or definitely don't want/need...

ISO:
For my son (Noah, will be three in August):

Size 9 and/or 10 Soft Star Elastic Mocs (or comperable brand like moss feet, or something similar)

training pants for day and night time! Ones that he can easily get on and off by himself. He poops in the potty, so I'm not worried about cleaning messes. He is about 26 lbs.

A lEhman's gift certificate www.lehmans.com

Useful Toys! His birthday is August 19th and he'll be THREE!!
I've seen lots of cute wooden toys and toy sets that I know he'd really love. He's got plenty of train track stuff, but he could use more pieces for his PLAN CITY set. Also pretty much anything wooden (that is age appropriate. Baby toys really bore him, lol)

The only plastic toys that I want for his is Fisher Price Little People sets. He has a barn and the mini city, some people a few animals, and two cars. I was trying to get him the castle set for his birthday.

Pretty much anything

Books in different languages (to teach the other language....so english/? books) any language, but especially spanish. NOT Language Nursery...already have that one

Thomas the Train "stuff"

play silks that can be used for capes, forts, etc.

outside toys...sprinkler-type toys, outdoor things he can do if there isn't anyone to play with.

a bank. I really like the ones from Haba, but can't afford those. I know there are other nice ones. Just something that would interest a three yr old, but isn't breakable.

He absolutely LOVES fire trucks, police cars, and just about anything there is that has to do with them. Mostly fire trucks.

"mini-cleaning supplies" Especially a broom! He loves to sweep but I'm tired of getting whacked in the head, lol

Stuff for his Baby (or a new one!). I made him a waldorf-style baby two christmases ago and this one is SO worn and tattered, and he's never had any other clothes for his baby. He might really like a sling for it, too.I believe it's an 18-inch tall baby. (he tells me his baby is a boy). Oh, he already has a stroller for his baby.

For Me:
I started a PART part time job doing lactation counseling at a local WIC office. I have to wear nice clothes (this is hard for me, as I'm the kind of mama who wears pajamas all day, lol). I would really like some nice tops. I have three that I've been rotating for almost two months and it's getting old! lol. I wear a size small in tops. They don't need to be SUPER dressy, but the need to have a sleeve (no strapless or sleeveless), and they need to look "nice". Sorry, can't describe it better, lol. They need to be in VG or New condition.

a Lehman's gift certificate www.lehmans.com

Books/CDs/Movies to teach conversational spanish (for my new job...I don't need or want anything with proper spanish...just quick phrases...and not travel specific...don't need to ask where the bathroom is, or how much it cost, lol)

Dear America Books. Any and all of them! (I'm starting to collect them to use for history in our "homeschooling")

Case Studies in Breastfeeding (a book)

So my wishlist on half.com http://tinyurl.com/a6bg9

Musicals (DVD, VHS, or CDs). Just about any of them! If I already have something in movie form, I'd love to have it on CD, too, and vice-versa. Here's what we already have:seven brides for seven brothers (movie), the Music Man (cd), The Best of Broadway (a compilation of music on cd), Phantom of the Opera (cd), Les Miserables (cd), Fiddler on the Roof (both), Sound of Music (both)...and probably others. I'll try to be more detailed later, or you can always just ask if I want this one or that one! : )

I'd really like a husband. Please send applications for courtship to my email address. LOL

I really want a violin (longshot, I know, but I'm having trouble thinking of things).

Oh! I want a set of bamboo knitting needles (like size 15..or around that)

Some nice knitting yarn. very soft, preferably natural fibers. All colors

Putumayo CDs. I think pretty much any and all of them, but especially the ones with lots of languages and the African ones!

Gift Certificates for almost any place (unless it's only a local thing,of course). If I can't use it, I can give it as a gift or get stuff for my son, etc.

Purses for work. I like the small ones that are in style now because I can put them inside my work bag when I don't need it. I already have a black one, but other styles/colors would be a nice variety.

some nice natural foods cook books. Doesn't have to be vegetarian, but that is preferable. One with recipes that don't require a chef to make

I'm sure I'll add more later, lol

Here's what we definitely don't want or can't have/use:

anything with artificial fragrance

can't use anything with tea tree, peppermint, or eucalyptus essential oils

nothing that smells (tastes) minty or like wintergreen

we don't need any bath stuff...we have lots of that! lol

my son doesn't need any clothes...we're doing very well with hand-me-downs!

Some things, off the top of my head, that I have to trade (I will not the condition of each item):

4 inch (head to toe, not including hat) 100% organic cotton gnome doll. Brand New

Hanging Car essential oil diffuser. used but good condition.

Belly Casting Supplies (don't need any right now): To brand new tubes of lubricant (petroleum-free surgical grade). At least two brand new rolls of casting strips.

About 2 ml of "Relaxing" EO blend (cedarwood, sweet orange and ylang ylang)

Almost 4 ml of "Revitalizing" EO blend (rosemary, lemongrass, orange, ginger root, grapefruit, mandarin, cinnamon, and lemon)

"push open" tea diffuser (used once)

Weleda calendula baby cream. Was brand new this morning, until my toddler squeased about a quarter of it out, lol. Not used on anyone, though.

Cute Haba hair band with flower. Brand New

One each of these size CPFs (all brand new):
7-14 lbs
14-20 lbs
20-35 lbs
35-60 lbs

Brand new tube of Tom's apricot-flavored homeopathic style toothpaste (m son took the foil seal off, but we've never used it.

About $10 worth of Pampers brand coupons

These are all things that worked well, but can't use anymore because they contain tea tree, peppermint, or eucalyptus oils, which antidote the remedies that Noah and I are on now:

About 1/5 of a one ounce bottle of peppermint EO (w/glass dropper)

Partially used MigraStick (little roll on tube with peppermint and lavender...for headaches and migraines)

A little over half a jar (full jar is 7.5 oz) of Peppermint scented Fizzy Bath Salt (Janet's Garden).

Over half a bottle of Beat It! deet-free bug spray (completely natural..SO bummed that we can't use this because it was the first bug stuff, all natural, that I found that actually worked)

little over half a bottle of Melaleuca Oil shampoo from melaleuca

Brand new bottle of completely and totally natural Mexitan sunscreen for Kids spf 30 with green tea (again sooooo bummed we can't use this anymore)

about a 5th of a bottle left of Erbaviva sniffle bath essence (really helps relieve stuffy noses)

Full bottle of Burt's Bees Doctor Burt's Herbal Blemish stick

and last to list for right now is an almost full 1 ounce bottle of Black Tea and Berries Fragrance oil with glass dropper.

Thanks and Blessings!!

You pay shipping on the boxes you send out.

OK, some general guidelines. You post your ISO. Everyone else posts theirs. At the close of the swap, you look it over and make your choices. You can ask to send to just one person, or 2 or 3--but please make as many possible choices as possible, for easier matching (like choose 3-4 people you COULD send to). PM the choices to me. I make the matches, and post the list. You PM the people you are sending to for their addresses, get the box ready, and ship, with Delivery confirmation, by the send-by date.

As far as used things--you can always ask someone now. If there is someone you think you have stuff to send to them, and you want to make sure it's OK to send used things, then just PM them now and ask. I'm sure they are mostly fine--like EO combinations, bath oils. I can't figure out how a fizzie would be partially used, but that's slow me
