Auntie Rachel, I'm not signing up for this swap but just wanted to tell you that my dd had a pass down nightgown that you made that she just loved and wore for 2 years at least, before we passed it on too. It was sooooo well made and held up to lots of use. It really was her favorite nightgown all that time. So whoever gets items from you will be pleased, I know.

It doesn't look like anyone is signing up for the infant category, but if you want to sign up your two olders I think that would be fine. Then we will be officially closed. Everyone would need to make 8 items for the 2-5 and the 6-9. You are also welcome to join the mama swap.

Aw, really? That would be awesome! I'll sign them both up and make Cinch Backpacks.

If anyone decides to sign up for the infant group I'll add Rieslin and make tag blankets.

I'll fill this out tomorrow. Thanks for getting me in there!

When you sign up please provide the following info:

your username - Korwynne

age of first child - Leila will be 3
gender - female
allergies - No food please - she's got a HUGE list of what she can't have, and any handmade products need to not have dairy, gluten, peanuts or tree nuts. (might come into play with art stuff or bath/body products) **She is anaphalactic to cats - so if you have one and it goes near whatever you're making, please let me know so I can make sure it's washe/wiped off/whatever before I give it to her - and if it's possible to keep a cat away from it, please do! at this point she seems fine with being in houses/things from houses with cats - it's the actual contact that causes us trouble, so if a cat rubs up against something, I'm not sure if it'd cause problems or not and I'd rather err on the side of caution. If there's a cat in the house but it's nowhere near what you're making, it shouldn't be a problem at all, but an FYI would still be nice in case she does have a reaction**
likes - mermaids, dolls, calico critters, princesses, fairies, ocean animals, bubbles, honeybees, pioneer things (she has a bonnet), ballet, playing with the wooden kitchen, gardening with Mommy. build a bear.
dislikes - she's easily scared, so please keep that in mind. She says she doesn't like "pooping elephants" and could I please tell people not to send her those. I try to mostly avoid characters.
favorite colors - oceany colors. If clothes, I think by that point in time, 3T would probably be the best.

second child's age - Joshua will turn 6 in December
gender - male
allergies - pretty much everything *sigh* For this swap though - no food, and any handmade products need to be free of dairy, gluten, peanuts and treenuts. (might come into play with art supplies or bath/body products)
likes - dinosaurs, dragons, pirates (non-character), knights, elves, gnomes. Playmobil. Build a bear. Gardening with Mommy. Pioneer things.
dislikes - cars and trucks, sports, superheros. He'd like me to request no slugs - they creep him out.
favorite colors - green, blue, and fall colors (burgundy, gold, burnt orange, pumpkin, browns, etc). If clothes, I'm guessing a size 6, but 7 to grow into would be fine as well.

third child age - Lindsey will be 7
gender - female
allergies - tree nuts and wintergreen oil. Dislikes the smell of strawberries as well. I'd prefer dairy/gluten/peanut free as well simply because siblings might get ahold of it.
likes - reading, writing, drawing, build a bear, fairies, princesses, ballet, playmobil, mythical creatures, wants to learn about herbalism , the solar system, Ancient Egypt, Goddesses in general. Recycling, Wildlife, helping the earth. Pioneer things.
dislikes - "wildlife products" (things that have harmed an animal in the making of the product)
favorite colors - pretty much anything! If clothes, I'm guessing a 7, but 8 would be okay to grow into as well - she's very long legged, so needs extra length in skirts and such.

would you like to participate in the adult swap? yes, please!
allergies - egg, dairy, nut and various other assorted things. Avoiding food might be a good choice. I'm set for bath products as well, since some of the allergies can cross over into what I can and can't use for bath stuff.
likes - anything mother/child related. Goddesses, pagan themed items and things for my altar, ankle length dresses and skirts, reading, I'm learning to knit, gardening, anything nature oriented (I love suns/moons/trees/mountains/the ocean/etc). Handmade pottery. Anything with a phoenix. Kitchen related stuff like cloth napkins, unpaper towels, placemats, etc. My kitchen is a work in progress but our plan is for it to be fall colors.
dislikes - trying to get away from cluttery kind of stuff, unless it's for my altar, nature table or mother/child oriented. I'm a packrat, and paper seems to be my biggest downfall (it was scary when I was into scrapbooking - not scrapbooking anymore!)
favorite colors - deep, muted kind of colors like can be found in nature. Oceany colors, fall colors, earthy colors.

any other info - I'm going to dye playsilks for Leila's age group, and teeshirts for Lindsey and Josh's age group. Not sure what I'm going to do for the mamas yet.

Dangit - I just came searching for this as I just saw a snippet the other day. But I guess I could still sign up for the mama-swap.
