haven't gotten started. Figure I've got two down weeks after my kids surgery when we'll be doing quiet activities - then two out of the three start school and I'll theoretically be able to accomplish more!

Randah, when I send these in, I'm labelling each with the mama's name it's for and which swap. Will that work?

also, you've got noted that I need to send two sets of stuff for the 2-5 group, but I've only got one kidlet in that bunch! I'm also not sending stuff for my own children, I'm assuming that's fine, but wanted to double check. Since it'll all be labelled, I figured it wouldn't make sorting any more difficult...

I'm going to have to drop out of this. I didn't judge my time well and I just don't have time. I'm sorry!

I thought I had you down for 1 spot in the 2-6 and 2 spots in the 6-9 So you make 8 items for the 2-5 and 15 for the 6-9. I'm not counting your kids. Does this make sense? It's one of those things that the more you think about it the harder it becomes. Well for me at least. I'm totally mathematically challenged.

Labeling is good. Do people want to send the mama gifts wrapped so that they will actually be a surprise? Or I could wrap them in tissue before I send them out, what do you all think?

No problem. Thank you for letting us know early.
So we are now making six items each for the mama swap.

Could everyone please post a progress report? Even if you haven't begun (hey, you still have over a month) I'm just wondering if everyone feels like they can make the Oct. 15 ship date. Thanks!

I pathetically haven't started. Can everyone say what they're making, as I might change my mind?

I'm making a variety of knitted items. Hats, animals, scarves, hair do dads and a doll or two. Mixing it up is keeping it interesting for me.

I haven't started yet either...but I'm narrowing down the possibilities on the older kids.

I'm making luminaries for the mamas.

I still have plans to make this as stated in my orig post :

I will be making toddler/kid travel car pillows including a crayon rollup , homemade doodle pad & all held in a tote

I have yet to get started but I'm very cluttered right now it won't take me long to get them done once I feel like I can move around and get things more organized, I have all the materials already just gotta do it already! lol

So I believe I'll be able to make the deadline first set

I'm still thinking playsilks for the littles and journals for the mamas, but I'm so indecisive about all of it. *sigh*
