I'm so excited I can barely stand it.
We're buying a house from friends of ours that own a construction company. He's an amazing builder and his wife has a great eye for design. This was a spec house for them and they've decided to sell it. It's going to be about 1800 sq ft when finished. 3 bedrooms, 2 full and 1 half bath with rough plumbing for a third full bathroom in the basement. It's a very simple design, basically a rectangle with HUGE dormers, it's going to be funky when it's finished.
The financing has been dropped into our laps. This is a total change in plans for us, but something we feel we can't really walk away from. It's all just so exciting.
If everything works out we should be in our new house by Christmas.
