Can I make "baked beans" with canned beans somehow?

Like a whole assortment of them?

How?

I bet if you slow cooked them with some dry mustard (or reg. mustard- just a touch) and brown sugar they would be yummy.

I have a slow cooker cookbook and almost all the baked bean recipes called for canned beans (of course those weren't what I was looking for but seeing as it was a gift, I can't complain ). I think it's just a matter of flavoring to your tastes.

sorry I was uber late to this, but I have done tis in the past. I just add everything to the beans like I would ones that I had boiled and toss inthe oven. Voila! Glad the children liked it.
