I'm so proud of myself!!

I just added up all the food receipts from this month, and we have only spent 109$ on food! That is really awesome for us, because we used to ''bargain'' shop.. and it was easy to spend 80$ each trip to the store. We thought that buying off brands, sale items was ''bargain'' shopping. But now I went through all the cupboards, fridge & freezer and made a list of what we have. I've been planning our meals around what we already have and only buying what we really need.. milk, cheese, meat. We also shop at Aldi's first to get better deals on produce, milk ect. and then we go to the grocery store to get our meat.

Thanks everyone for the inspiration!
