Menu plan!
Here's the next two weeks. I only need to buy milk and a pack of hot dogs and will probably buy bread this week from the bread store on 50 cent day, including a few bags of bagels. Or I may buckle down and make some bread, seeing as I have all the ingredients, and money is really tight at the moment... I need to work on adding veggies and Week 2 still needs work...
Friday (today): breakfast: French toast;lunch: leftovers; Dinner: homemade pizza
Saturday(DH's 39th b-day!): breakfast: biscuits and gravy, smoothies; lunch: Ramen, veggie, egg soup; dinner: meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn. Desert: sugar cream pie
Sunday: breakfast: cream of wheat/cocoa wheats (I have a grain grinder and wheat berries); lunch: grilled cheese and tomato soup; dinner: grilled chicken, steamed carrots
Monday(new year's eve): Breakfast: oatmeal; Lunch: shepard's pie w/leftover meatloaf, etc. Dinner: chicken wings, edamame, possibly eggrolls that my SIL-to-be made and left in our freezer (we have to fry them), popcorn, cheese and crackers....
Tuesday (New Year's Day): B:sausage or ham and egg bagels; L: D:Penne alfredo with chicken, broc, and sundried tomatoes.
Wed. B: cream of wheat, rice, or oatmeal; L: mini-pizzas Dinner: Boston baked beans, mac and cheese, coleslaw, bread
Thursday: B: pancakes L: beanie weenies, corn bread; D: Enchilasagna
Friday: B: smoothies, leftover pancakes, French toast, etc., smoothies;
L: Leftovers D: garlic breadsticks and pasta and meatballs
Saturday: B: cinnamon raisin bread French toast. L: beans and rice (was going to be red, but I think I only have black); D: chicken pot pie
Sunday: B: Bagels with ham, sausage, egg L: chicken divan; D: potato soup, garlic cheddar biscuits
Monday: B: granola L:leftovers D: black bean soup
Tuesday: B: cream of rice L: leftovers D: meatloaf, rice and peas
Wednesday: pancakes L: leftovers Dinner: chicken pot pie
Thursday: oatmeal L: D: shepards pie
Friday: B: L: May be leaving town on Friday--Reagan's 1st B-day!!!
