WE NEED NEW BRAKES ON OUR VAN

Sorry for the caps, baby is helPING ME. Not just pad, but a whole new system, plus our ABS light is on. We don't have any credit, dh is in credit counseling and is now against debt. Any ideas on how to pay for this? I find someone who will do the van under the table(he is licensed, just does this after his shop is close on the weekends and at night), but till we could be paying over $1500. A guy at work told david he can look at it and see if he would help. David is re doing his resume to see can he get another programming job on top of his job now. I have put a few things on CL and another local forsale group. Then he is after his old boss because he has back pay of a lot of money. We have a call into the labour board about that.
