Keeping a secret from Hubby

And I have to say it or I'll burst.
I just made a final payment today on his credit card. We have a second mortgage and a car payment but I hope to have the car payment gone in two months.

I'm not going to tell hubby because he's the type of person to eliminate a debt only to begin another one.

Of course I will tell him ..... .....eventually . By then I hope to have the car debt gone and put a HUGE dent into the second mortgage(if I don't get rid of it completely)

I know how that goes!! I HATE telling dh we are free and clear, and the next money isn't slated for anything in particular, cause then all of a sudden some huge ticket, use most of the money, urgently needed thing is suddenly remembered!

wooohooo I paid off dh's card with the tax return and he started using it again so now we have it as a payment again.I wish he would stop using it.

I know that feeling........DH would be off to buy *another* set of golf clubs if he knew the visa was clear again.
