Ideas needed for fun frugal summer
I am going to be watching an 8 year old this summer, in order to make the first half of the preschool payment. I need some ideas of what to do with an 8, 7 and 4 year old this summer, that won't take a lot of money. My dd will be 16 and involved with her horse so I don't have to worry too much about her, she is getting a job so she won't be here much. The two older boys will have a week of basketball camp, 2 1/2 hours each morning, and then fishing camp for a week. I may be able to talk dh into putting up the inflatable pool, if it is still any good, it hasn't been put up for 3 years.
Also need ideas for snacks, breakfasts, lunches and dinners that will be quick and frugal.
I need to keep it on the cheap side, but still be healthy and fun, due to dh taking a lower paying job in the company that he is in. The pay cut isn't permanent but will be for about a year so the belts need major tightening.
