Im getting sooooo close to feeling like Im "done"

I cant believe it .... sure theres things I COULD live without, but for the most part every room is almost "done"

I have had a few yardsales, or posts since mid July and have gotten rid of SO much! I set up today at a community sale - flea market style from 7:30-noon - I pulled onto the road at exactly 12, and I had gotten rid of over 50% of what I brought and pocketed $150 after setup fee

I told DH that I am taking a road trip next week with the money and finding my way to the Ikea thats 2hrs from here! I WANT to get organized!! I NEED storage boxes that I like and that will look great yk?! inspire me to use them LOL He of course thinks Im nuts for wanting to get lost he doesnt think I can find it since he knows the area its in, he has no faith in me I swear LOL But determined I will!!

I have about 4 boxes of items left plus the dang wedding dress that I keep trying to sell! someone needs this right?! Im not at the point to just give it away since I paid a lot for it but heck Id be willing to ship it to someone for $50 priority mail insured too lol .... The inlaws maybe coming up tomorrow and mil has decided she wants to have a yardsale in early Oct. so shes offered to take back whatever I want to put in there and store it till then ... that means its like outta here not in view, unseen and outta mind! lol That just makes me even more thrilled to be so close to being "done"

The next big journey is tackling paper , paper this paper that and organizing it, putting just printer paper in one box, documents in the right box ect ect .. that is what is a huge mess!! I need to figure out what is a NEED and shred and toss the rest and be done with it! I so need those boxes from Ikea since all this type of stuff is going into our bedroom on the shelves

I cant wait to be done and weigh less!
I really wish I took before pics LOL Im so proud of myself

just had to share I suppose

Good for you! I'm pretty close, myself, due to our move - or I can pretend to be because a lot of stuff is in boxes still, in the basement, but organized and ready to be done one box at a time. But my living areas are clean and decluttered and it feels wonderful!

You'll find IKEA, don't worry! Leave an entire day. It's a huge place to get through the first time.

Wonderful job! It sounds like a lot of work too that you got done... that must feel GREAT!

We were able to do that 1 1/2 years ago with this move, but right now we are needing to scale down even more and I look at this and start to twitch. lol... It seems like we have done what we can, but in every room I am starting to see where improvments need to be made. ACK!
