We de-cluttered and now have a garage!! *lol*

Well, we did it.

We got rid of so much stuff. An entire garage full plus most of the contents of our storage shed that we have in the backyard.

For the first time ever, we can park a car in our garage!!! (first time in 14 years)

It really feels good to have done this!!! We are making progress in the lifestyle and financial goals we have set.

Oh, and dh has lost 30#'s!!!! He no longer has sleep apnea (sic) and I'm not terrified that he is going to drop dead from his weight problem. He still has about 50# to go, however I know he is going to do it!!! Maybe getting rid of all the "junk" helped him make this change in his own body weight and lifestyle? (dunno about that, but maybe!)

Now if we can figure out what to do with those 2 debts that I was asking for advise about......

Michelle

We did get rid of really lots of things. It was not easy.....it is silly how attachments to things forms.

But it feels good now and I don't miss the stuff at all.

Thats wonderful! When we first moved here we filled the garage with crap. It took us three months to realise that we needed the space for living (which is where I am sitting right now) and we cleaned it out. Purging more than I ever have in my life that week! It felt so good though! I can just imagine your relief getting rid of all that stuff you didn't need!

WONDERFUL JOB! And congrats on your new garage! I bet you get a little boost just driving in there.
