After ranting about him so much on here I have to brag...
Yesterday my dh really wanted to go out to lunch. I told him point blank he had to reign it in... and then I went to check my email and sit on here for a little bit. I came out of the office and he had made natchos and burittos for the kids with melted cheese on top and everything. The kids were THRILLED and I was too. It wasn't much, but he didn't push eating out again at all, and he actually made lunch. I was really proud.

good for him. I was at a friend's house today, and we were talking about eating out. I said my DH supports me in our goal to stick to the grocery budget (which means eating out maybe one lunch and one dinner a month now). And if I don't feel like cooking, DH does. Didn't used to, but we both figured the thousands of dollars a year we were spending a year on eating out (adding up the cost over a year really makes you realize how much it is!) could go to better uses.
