This may just have been the buy of the decade!

Last spring, I found a Columbia snowsuit in my size for $6 at a garage sale. Yesterday, the kids and I played outside in the snow and 20 degree weather for about an hour, and I wasn't at all cold. I even did an army crawl through the snow for one of DS's "challenges." I'm looking at winter in a whole new light this year! I've never owned even a pair of snowpants my whole life (and I've lived in Indiana and Michigan my whole life!). I'm thrilled!

I have never owned a pair of snow pants either... but my dad and I were the same size when I was 12 (I am 6' tall) and so there for I have borrowed his for the last 15 years. lol... we only need them once a year or so.

Awsome buy!

that sounds like so much fun. I'm a fellow michgander and froze my thighs off yesterday . i guess if i take the 20 min to get the kids all dressed up i should thrown on my old ski pants from highschool as well, that way i'm not just standing there freezing. way to go on the buy, i love it when that happens and its with something you really use.

I think I remember you posting about that, Jody. That's fantastic. So nice to get out and play with the kiddos, isn't it?
