My simple pleasures for today... come check them out...
So today Cyan stayed home sick. She has been sick now for about a month and I am starting to think she has Mono. Yikes... but anyway... we were out looking for something to do, and I took my new camera. Then it started snowing. Oh love it was so beautiful! I stopped on the side of the road three times to take pictures becuase it looked so clean and clear. Just beautiful! So here they are... my simple pleasure for today:

Tumwater Falls park.


The Capital Building in the snow.


This is about 1/4 of the ducks we saw in capital lake today. It was AMAZING how many there were. Just hanging in the snow...


Oh and one of Cyan, just cuz she was being cute:


Last one. Our house in the snow. I think it's time to put up Christmas decorations... what do you think?

Yep... obviously that was me deverginising the snow to take the picture. I tried to step out of the snow, but there wasn't a place that my car wasn't in... so there you go. Footprints in the snow. lol...

we have two more inches now. Looks like me and the kids will have a movie day tomorrow.

Lovely!

My day was crazy (and I still have another hour of crazy to go), but I did experience a few simple pleasures:

Sitting at the park with a friend while the kids played. It was gorgeous weather-wise. You had snow, we hit 70 degrees and it was sunny.

Savoring a Satsuma mandarin orange - twice.
