does anyone have the Not Just Beans Cookbook?

If so, do you use it? Are there healthy recipes in it?

Just wondering if it is worth the money.

TIA

I have it and like every recipe we've ever used. It is one of those cookbooks for basic, everyday type food.
I think there are some sample recipes on their website.

If you go to the bottom of the ordering page here: http://www.notjustbeans.com/ordering.htm you'll see you can now order not just beans for $8! That sounds like a pretty well-priced gamble to me. I want it now, of course I want the new one too: Dining on a dime. Actually I've wanted NJB for years and never broken down and bought it.

Check e-bay. Sometimes she lists there and they go for less.

I have it and like it. I also have More With Less, and while I LOVE More With Less for the whole way it approaches food and makes me think about it and for lots of great recipies, Not Just Beans has more "normal" stuff. Some of it is not the healthiest fare, but it gives me ideas on how to make things that substitute for even less healty stuff, and it has some recipes for stuff from scratch that I have yet to find elsewhere.

Love the Enchilada Sauce recipe and taco seasoning mix. I know there are other great ones in there, but I'm drawing a blank at the moment.

I don't think you'll be disappointed (especially if you can grab it used!) Good luck! Let us know if you find a recipe or two you love!
