We SPLURGED !! Does anyone else?

We had PORTER HOUSE T bone Steaks !! I can't BELIEVE we could afford them, they were on SALE YAY!! Kevin and i each got one and spent $8 for both, it was a splurg, but YUMMY what a great splurg.

We also had corn casserole, rolls, and green beans, and kevin had brussel sprouts.

We are both SOOOO stuffed cause those were HUGE steaks, we could have cut them in half and both of us eatten off one ! I guess our eye balls were bigger then out tummies

We spent all of maybe $10 maybe $12 on tonights FEAST, so it was WAY WAY cheaper then going out to a steak out for dinner.

Does anyone else does an occational slurge when they can afford it?

absolutely! Necessary for our mental health sometimes. Instead of going out we feast - our feast is usually snow crab legs with drawn butter or sometimes shrimp scampi !

sounds like your steaks were lovely. good for you!

Yes! Here it is leg of lamb from our local farmer. We also buy a turkey from him at Thanksgiving and that is kind of like our yearly splurge because it is around $35. We don't splurge often, but when we do we do it right!

I'm afraid I splurge every week on food. Dh complains that I spend more on food than we do on our mortgage. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't eat out all the time too. I need to work on this!
