Question about the compact flourescent lightbulbs

I want to start replacing our lightbulbs after the recent discussion about these. I looked at Walmarts this weekend and all I could find were the "long life" bulbs w/ a 5 yr. garuntee (based on 4 hrs. per day LOL). Is this the same thing or will it actually say "compact flourescent"? Or am I totally confused?

Thanks so much mamas!

They will say compact flourescent, not just long life. We buy ours at Home Depot or Lowes. The ones we purchased in a bulk pack at Sam's Club (I think they were Sunbeam brand) were awful. Did not last as long as others and at least one exploded on us.

We got ours at Home Depot for about 5.43 a 4-pk on sale. They have lasted us 3 years so far! They look like little spirals

Thanks!

That is cheaper than the "long life" noes at Walmart.

I'll definately go there and check them out.

Have a happy afternoon mamas!
